A Site Safety Plan is only the beginning…
Through the distribution of our documented Project Specific Site Safety Plan which includes a Site Safety Layout Plan (as shown) and an unwavering “work safe attitude” by all site workers, supervisors and managers, we will work together to achieve our goal of ZERO ACCIDENTS on our projects.
It is expected that all employees and sub-contractors working on our sites will abide by this project specific Site Safety Plan in addition to maintaining compliance with all legislated requirements including the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and Regulations for Construction Projects.
Our project-specific site safety plan is intended to identify any hazards unique to each project as well as to serve as a reminder of the most prevalent safety concerns that are encountered in most day-to-day construction activities.
In addition to the above, a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) is completed prior to the commencement of new scopes of work; pre-planning and discussions on site may be required in order to maintain safe working condition. It is a requirement of all Monteith site supervisors and project managers to ensure that every effort possible is made to assist all sub-contractors in achieving a safe approach to all site activities.
